NIU Artists Present at National Conference

NIU Presidential Research Professor of Art History Jeff Kowalski, art history graduate student Rachel Walters and School of Art staff member Janie Wilson-Cook were invited to present a panel session at a conference entitled Bridging the Gap: Cultural Institutions and their Communities in the 21st Century. This conference was the annual symposium hosted by the Historical Administration Program Association of Eastern Illinois University.

Their session was entitled "Maya Art: Investigating Aesthetics, Cultural Identity, and Globalization in a University Exhibition," and was presented on April 10 in Charleston, Illinois.
