MDW Fair Review Spotlights Much NIU-Related Work

My previous post discusses the work of NIU professor of art Frank Trankina, which is appearing as part of this weekend's MDW Fair in Chicago.

Paul Klein's review of the MDW Fair has been picked up and published by both Artletter and by the Huffington Post. In Mr. Klein's review he shows several pieces by NIU faculty members and alumni.

In addition to prominently showing Frank's works, the Klein review shows a sculpture by NIU School of Art instructor Ben Stone,

a sculpture by NIU School of Art alumnus Michael Rea,

and a wall drawing by NIU School of Art alumnus Ryan Christian.

You can read Paul Klein's review here on Artletter or here on the Huffington Post.

We also discovered that NIU School of Art alumnus Dominic Moore, who owns the Ebersmoore Gallery, has work represented at the MDW Fair.

Congratulations to all our NIU art folks in the MDW Fair!
