Voice Professor Hosting Annual Summer Workshop

Myron Myers, professor of voice in the NIU School of Music, announces his summer class for opera singers and collaborative pianists, Voices of the Millennium, will expand to 10 days this year, and take place in a new venue in the Fine Arts Building in Chicago, the former Pianoforte showroom, which has a small stage and a very fine Fazioli piano. Stanton Davis, professor in the NIU School of Theatre and Dance and our esteemed new opera theater director, is giving a daily workshop in voice for the theater, and Roy Cornelius Smith, the increasingly busy internationally known tenor, will give a master class during the workshop.
