Theatre Professor Directs at Noted Summer Festival

Stanton Davis, professor in the NIU School of Theatre and Dance, is directing William Shakespeare's Henry IV parts 1 and 2 for the 37th season of the Oak Park Festival Theatre.

For this particular production, Stanton combined both parts of Henry IV into a single production. In a press release for the production, Stanton claims "The characters are lovable and tragic. The family scenes are heart-breaking and the tavern scenes are laugh-till-your-sides-hurt funny."

The show previews on June 9 and runs through July 11. Complete information and tickets are available through the Oak Part Festival website.
