Painting Students Invited to Exhibit

This summer's Plein Air painting class, taught by NIU School of Art Professor Charlotte Rollman, painted scenes along State Street in Sycamore, Illinois. While painting, they were noticed by Sycamore Mayor Ken Mundy, who promptly invited the students and Charlotte to exhibit their completed works in the windows of the Sycamore Town Hall building.

The works are on exhibit until September 7, in the State Street-side windows of the Town Hall building, 308 West State Street in Sycamore.

The paintings on exhibit are:

Katie Mooney: watercolor, 30" x 22": "Downtown Shoes"
Anna Zantout: watercolor, 22" x 15": "Faces in the Building"
Charlotte Rollman: watercolor, 30" x 22": "State Street Welcome"
Matthew Lubran: oil, 16" x 20": "Popcorn Stand"
