Jazz Professor's Work Featured on NPR Nationwide

Congratulations to NIU School of Music jazz saxophone professor Geof Bradfield! Some of you may recall previous posts about Geof and the rave reviews of his new work Melba! (earlier posts are here, here, and here).

Now, National Public Radio (NPR) has picked up Melba! for broadcast on their stations all across the country. Melba! will be featured on the program JazzSet (check your local station's listings for date and time). The version on NPR is from Geof's group's live performance here at NIU. Kudos, too, to our resident recording guru, Dan Nichols, for his great engineering and mixing.

This version of Melba! is also available on the NPR website for listening at your leisure.
