Cor Cantiamo Presents Psallite!

Cor Cantiamo, a professional chamber choir directed by NIU Director of Choral Activities Dr. Eric Johnson, and consisting of nearly all NIU School of Music alumni, will present a program of psalm settings celebrating the beauty and glory of the psalmists. The first half of the concert highlights some of the most beloved and profound settings ever composed including works by Allegri, Sch├╝tz, and J.S. Bach. The second half of the program features exciting new psalm settings from the 20th and 21st centuries.

Cor Cantiamo serves as an ensemble-in-residence at the NIU School of Music, and we're pleased to announce their program will be performed twice:

Friday, February 15, at St. Raphael Church, 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville, IL,

and,

Thursday, February 21, at Aurora University as part of their Third Thursday Concert Series, Crimi Auditorium, 407 South West Calumet Ave., Aurora IL.
