Sculpture Professor's Works in Two Shows

 Tsavo Manhunters by Mike Rea

Michael Rea, assistant professor of sculpture in the NIU School of Art, has works accepted for exhibit in two shows.

"First Contact" is a show at The Gallery Project in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is a multi-media exhibit featuring the work of 33 artists from around the globe, with the intention of exploring our desire to encounter extraterrestrials. This exhibit runs from now through March 24.

The second show in which Michael's work is included is "Unconventional Narratives: The Triumph of the Witch," which will be at the Gibson Gallery of SUNY Potsdam. "Unconventional Narratives" opens on March 7 and runs through April 6.

Congratulations, Mike!
