Dance Area Hosts High School Students

The NIU dance area within the School of Theatre and Dance recently hosted 32 student dancers from Currie Metro High School in Chicago. As part of the day-long residency on February 26, the students observed ballet classes, participated in an improvisation class, and performed works which were choreographed by Currie Metro's dance director Melinda Wilson.

NIU dance professors working with these students were Judy Chitwood, Paula Frasz, and Brian Carey Chung.
